Coming here, i don't even know what to update on the site anymore. Please don't be surprise if there is no news when you visit, because, there is simply nothing of particular interest that i wish to broadcast anymore, nothing.
My life has being going at a monotonous rate, somewhat like a terminal along a factory line work, with each passing day the same as the last.
Nothing is happening! I'm bored, sick, and wish everything will end sooner.

Oh, tommorrow's the starting of Term3, for my ex-RGS girls, it's going to be a new start for Comp Studs once again, a new face... I MISS ALL OF YOU! And i also really hope that you will like the new teacher, enjoy her class as much as you have enjoyed mine, or more! And do a good job for your web portfolio and video productions!

In this light of days, who can understands me? Who does?
You have seen the smiles on my face, am i really smiling? Or am i smiling to make YOU happy?
I am on the journey to search for myself, for i am what i am, and i will face who i am.
The greatest enemy in the world is yourself.
He who defeats himself wins the world.
I do not need your advice, i will find the answers myself.
Please do not try to make me smile, for you will fail, if i smile at you, think, am i really smiling?
My past have affected me much. Everything.
I will face the past, my past, face who i was, confront what i am, when i succeed, you will see me smile, you don't have to make me smile, for i will smile for you.
In the light of days, who can help yourselves but YOU. This is a journey, my journey.
Just wanna upload a few of the memories from yesterday's steamboat, heh.

Our great feast!

Let's eat! Famished!

Cooking up a feast...

Goodbye Vincent... & Happy Birthday to Vincent, Wenjie & me...

I made this card! Cool!? Kinda proud of it, heh.
It's truly memorable (to me), hopefully Vincent will bring this wonderful memory(at least i consider) to the US! Best regards bro~~ Bon Voyage~~~ It will be a while before we can ever do this again, nevertheless, the time will come~!
Its being a while, i have being UTIMATELY BUSY! I have commence my placement and my schedule had suddenly become super-packed! Not that i was busy at work, rather, because i have to be at work, i only have that little time to do my own stuffs... after work.
I wanna recap what i did for the whole of last week. Monday was my birthday, and also the first day of my placement. It came and went like nothing ever happened, nothing like a special day to remember. I really wanna express my THANK YOU to all who wanted, attempted, greatly persisted to want to spent my birthday evening with me, namely Konghan, Guoxiong & Vincent! THANKS, i appreciate that! But i just happen to have something on.
My series of event.
Sunday, it was one of the best sundays i ever had for a while, although i became $2000 poorer afther that, no i did not treat everyone to a night stay at the Grand Copthorne.
There was a lunch with my long lost friend, Qiulin, it was like really lllooong ago since we met! Something like 1 and a half year and i got a surprise SMS from her to "date" me last week, of course i'l go! (oh juz in case, she has got a bf) We sorta have a half-yearly agreement to meet, but we have failed greatly for the past 1 year! Nevertheless, this time, we're determine to accomplish our promise, heh! Ate at "Out of Pan", a restaurant she recommended! Quite nice, but i think its e catching up thats nicer, imagine how much we could talked about? Its 1year of catching up know!? Too bad she needs to rush for work soon after.
Then came the time i became $2000 poorer, i need to get a laptop! IT Show that is! The crowd was disatrous, and i met so many people i know! Until Sun Yun went "Ooi, y u know so many people!?" Can't help lah! Haha. In the end, got my new Compaq V2000 lappie! I hope its going to last me AT LEAST 3 YEARS! I have no intention of spending anything above the 4-digit number anytime soon~~ Except... School fees...
The last event on Sunday ends with CHILLI CRAB @ Joo Chiat! Legend (KC's and John's legend) has it that its ONE OF THE BEST CRABS in the region, spotting visitors from all over the world (Clementi, Woodlands & Hougang) to indulge in the taste of the legendary sous chef's remarkable culinary! Well, its really good anyway, for a non-food expert like me. My first taste of reminds me of the recent KFC commercial where that guy blew fire, HOT! But i gradually grew to love it! On the downside, that meal cost me $35! =( Phyllis and Hwee Ping why you all never come to share the cost! Haha.
I take sunday (although not mention) as 2 birthday meal, heh!
Monday, my actual birthday, i wanted to write happy birthday to myself, but i have no time! I knock off at 6.30pm, went straight down to Bugis to meet Sun Yun to get her laptop, must help her install things. Got home and went straight to bed! Some kind of birthday huh!?
Tuesday, no work! Due to some miscommunications, i did not have to come in! So... Had Guoxiong came over to my place, helped him edit his advertsing clip for his presentation and got a hardwork+birthday lunch from him! Although he complained about the service all the way~~
Later met Vincent, Wenjie and Shijia for dinner at PS! I thought it was just a meet-up, but i got a birthday present in the end! A Nike Cap! Thanks again to the secondary school bunch for this little surprise! The drink at TCC was great too~
The day ended with me rushing with 2 laptops to Jieming's place to install software. Thanks Jieming for providing the stuffs.
Wednesday, work was hectic, a lot of talks to attend. After that, it was a rush down to PS again! To pass the laptop to Sun Yun and a tiring walk down from PS to Bugis to meet Jiaqi and Guoxiong... Guoxiong was supposely showing me the blazer he wanted to get me for my birthday! Heh, i like it very much, but too bad dun have my size =( I hope they'l be able to find it so i can get it!
Day ended with more video editing for Guoxiong @.@"
Thursday, best day! Longest working hour, reach home at 10pm! But was worth the long working hours, don't wanna talk about work here, but i'l just say i met my clients! Its pretty contradicting, i use to work with all the good girls, now i work with all the bad boys! Heh.
Friday, day ended with a shopping for today's steamboat with Wenjie and Shijia! I must say, luckily Shijia was around! She's like the "Xian Qi Liang Mu" loh, she knows exactly what to get and where to get! All my shopping was done by here and she got us everything we want and need! Lucky Wenjie!
Then it was home sweet home and the preparation for today! Must thank mum also for helping with the preparation into the wee hours! I slept at 2am last night!
Ok! So much for updates! Heh! Just glad that the week is finally over! Looking forward to a fabulous steamboat with the guys!! Heh!
Went to Pulau Ubin cycling with Wenjie and Shijia yesterday, was so damn tired after that, but its like so damn fun.
Vincent was suppose to join us but couldn't in the end because he had to go remove his wisdom tooth, i hope his gums are not bleeding anymore and he's not in too much pain now... Poor thing...
Why do they call it a Wisdom tooth?? Its like you have one because you are wise, but you got to remove it coz it causes too much trouble, too much pain, then you become stupid, coz you remove "E WISDOM TOOTH"! Vincent removed 2x wisdom tooth over e course of his life, so that makes him even stupider. (Ok, i'm being lame here, but i can't help it, i don't have wisdom tooth yet, guess i'm stupid loh, then again, let me remain stupid, i can't bear e dentist @.@")
On another note, i went the island with Wenjie and Shijia, they're a couple... That makes me the "Dian Deng Pao"! =( Man, why have i been going out so much with people and their girlfriends of late? First there were Sia and his girlfriend, then them. Makes me feel kinda sad~~~
Anyway, Pulau Ubin was fun! Believe or not, its my FIRST TIME there! I've been dying to go there since like so long ago, but sadly, i never had a chance to go, coz when i was in school, i was either to busy or ignorant about such trips, or no one thought i was interested or no one around me was interested (at least i thought)! BUT I AM INTERESTED!
And i wanna go again, there are many places that i have not been to on the island yet, like the many off-roads and the Chek Jawa (because it started raining! =( ).
The Bumboat
Took the bumboat from the Changi Village Ferry Terminal, it costs only $2/trip! Its a quick trip and one hell of a ride, well not exactly hell, but the thing is, as the boat moves, we were like sitting below sea level yea, we were able to see the waves rushing behind and the boat was almost submerging into the sea! Something like this(Heh!):
waves boat waves
~~~~~<__Man__>~~~~~
Well its a cheap trip to get the feeling of crossing oceans... heh! Pulau Ubin Ferry Terminal, which i think is a recent upgrade, isn't as shabby as i though it will be.
The Bicycle Rental
$8 for a whole day of cycling! Woah~! That on East Coast Park is for 2hours loh. The lady even promise to return us some $ if we return early... Though in the end she didn't, but its ok, i don't think they really earn a lot there anyway, and they do need to eat too, its not too ex, so just leave it loh, never argued with her.
Whizzling round the island
The bike i took was pretty good, went quite fast and quite easily through all the trails, except for once when i went exploring and encounter this 75degree slope! I was like "hurf purf hurf purf" and i still couldn't move. So i gave up and walk...
Still prefered to go off-roads, but since it was our first time there, we use the main track to explore the island, and that already took up more then half our time.
I recalled 2 times when i went ahead to explore off-roads as we were not sure whether to proceed. For the first time, went to the most western off-road and hit a nice beach facing the North. Was suppose to look for this "German Maiden Shrine", but in the end after cycling for quite a distance, i still couldn't find it, so i headed back as there were waiting for me. My first off-road on the island, cool, fun and easy!
The second time was the more interesting time. Went to explore a road with this sign that says "OBS Property. No trespassing." WTH, just went lah. Now this is really off-road! Mountain trails, narrow tracks, outstanding branches like hands ever ready to rip you off the ground, rocky paths, and... e 75degree slope! I was laughing hysterically as i climb the slope on the bike, i couldn't help it...! The best of this trip is that i saw not one, but THREE wild boars! Now thats exciting, there were about 10meters away from me and scrambled when i approach them on my bike. Actually, i didn't know at that point of time whether i should be more afraid or them..! Luckily, army training did teach me a bit on how to handle wild boars if it does attack, so i was like.. mentally prepared? No practical experience with wild boars though... But you have to run in zig-zag if it chases u!
Still many off-roads, tracks and places yet to explore! I wanna go again! And this time, i wanna take pictures!
The not-so-fun
June holidays, so many students! Its ok for having so many students around, i like the crowd, but i don't like it when they get rowdy. Y do kids gets so overly excited when they go on trips together? There was this group from somewhere (like some NPCC group), quite a big group, and they were trekking, so their instructor made them walk in rows of 2s. They were going "left left left right..." ok... a rythmn, wat shitz, all the wrong hand wrong leg, and then make so much noise. If i were the instructor, they can forget about moving untill they know how to walk and behave properly.
So after that, went back mainland around 4+, had a light snack at Changi Village and headed home. Had a dinner appointment to meet at night... Shijia was so tired that she fell asleep on the ride home, didn't even had a chance to bid her farewell when i left...
Dinner and my first birthday present!
Went for dinner with Jiaqi and NianNian at the "Shi Nai Cha Can Ting" at East Coast Road! Its the best HK Style cafe we encounter so far (up to the standard of Miss Lim, Singapore self-proclamined professional taster of HK delicacies). Indeed its good, heard from my friend that YES933 was there yesterday night too, just that, we didn't know.
Had a really great dinner over "po fan", "gei pa fan", "ting mian" and "nai cha" and TADA... receive my first birthday present! A really cool shirt from HK! Thank you qi and niannian for being so thoughtful and knowing that i need shirts to wear for my placement! Although i never showed enough of my appreciation last night, i really do! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!
Mob Briefing (today)
Went home and pop right into bed, coz of mob briefing and had to wake up early, super early! Must thank Jieming's dad for driving us, once again like old times, to the camp! Worse, my HP went flat and i haven even confirmed the meeting times with them! Omg! Luckily everything turn out fine!
Briefing was more like a meet-up session for long lost friends, nothing more. As what army always makes us do, we spent most of the time waiting, well, at least we did lotsa of catching up while waiting. Heh
Time now 2300Hrs, feeling shagged! Shall turn in, more appointments tomorrow! Plus... Laptop..! Heh!
