Back from IPT. There was a funny comment during the training.
We were doing "conditioning exercises" during one of the segment, which was like those times when we were still in the force and were doing repetitve physical trainings. In times like this, the PTI usually liked people to "Down and hold it there".
So, we were doing a couple of push ups, crunches and legs exercises with "DaHIT" (Short form for down-and-hold-it-there). And it comes to a point of time where we were going to do tug jumps (jumps where you lift your legs to your chest), and then someone proclaims "Jump and hold it there!" Wahaha! Hiralous right on the spot! Imagine the Matrix style one-legged jump up with two hands protruding and FREEEZZZEEE. Woohoo~!

Okie, now to my Tuesday and why i particularly loved it. Because Tuesday was my mum's off day and basically the whole family was home. =) Well, the thing is, i hardly experience family life nowadays, with mum working almost everyday. So i really treasure the times when the whole family can sit down and have a proper dinner together. (I am such a deprived-of-family-warmth kid you see)
Anyway, we spring-cleaned the whole house and even managed to go shop abit in the late afternoon at Hougang Mall! =) I am so proud to say that i managed the whole toilet cleaning by myself! (Hey, cleaning the toilet included scrubbing the basin/toilet bowl, scrubbing the walls and also the door okie!)
Dinner was simple, just fried rice and a bowl of chicken curry. Its just the simple things in life that matters at the end of the day isn't it? Why do we work so hard? Isn't it just so the simple things in life is made visible for us to appreciate, when we worked hard enough to realise that that's what we've been missing all along? I have experienced all this... and all i longed for is to have a simple, simple family life. =)
I looked forward to the end of the year, where i WILL finally graduate. Then, i will make sure that mum change job and make sure that Sunday is free for everyone in my family (mum, dad and me) to dine and stay together. Even if i have a girlfriend then, sorry, Sunday is for them, you can join in if you want.

I've being updating the blog a lot recently, that goes to show how free i am these few days. =) Nevertheless, i have decided to take up the task of doing some household chores while i am goofing around, so that will ease off some of mum's work =)
There's also plans to change the blogskin (again), that is, if i can find a nicer one. Thats all folks! Nitez... Tata!
