Flashes of 2006

Yes, its finally the end of the year. And its also time to recap upon whatever that had happened in the year 2006.

2006 marks a very significant year for the past 23years of my life. It was a year of many new experiences. ORD, financial independency, responsiblity, new journey of life, first job, first breakup, first taste of life, new friends, new thoughts, first this first that, so many firsts untill i do not know how to write.

I can only use ONE sentence to describe 2006:
"It had being a helluva ride!"

I guess i have grown a lot... Seen a lot... experience too much... pain... joy... frustration... love... relations... family... career... passion... friends... letting go... holding on... Life.

Snooping around... Just ORD... Jobless... Hanging on to a tough relationship.

::February::
-First time onboard STARCRIUSE with Mum and Dad (8-10 Feb)
-Got my first job as IT Teacher of Raffles Girls School (13 Feb)
-Embark on the torturous journey of being a Full-time worker/Part-time student with no LIFE

::March::
-Lost of a 5year relationship that we had held so dearly (4 Mar)
-First case supervision as a VPO

::April::
-Developing a love-hate relationship of my job

::May::
-Resigned from teaching job (13 May)
-Struggling with Work + Studies
-Preparing to embark on another new journey to learn about myself

::June::
-First visit to P.Ubin (cycling trip) - (2 June)
-First reservist callup (3 June)
-Bought my first LAPPIE (4 June)
-First meeting with Qiulin after aeons (4 June)
-Beginning my placement journey with Probation Services Branch (5 June)
-Meeting many new and great friends in the process
-My birthday (5 June) -(Thanks to ALL who remembered)
-Vincent's farewell and birthday party (10 June)
-Day Trip to JB (17 June)

-First hand experiences of Juvenile offenders, homes, court systems, families and many more

-End of placement (24 August)
-First lone overseas trip (25-27 August)
-NS detachment IC briefing (29 August)

::September::
-Got second job as SCS's Programme Co-ordinator
-Embarking on yet another (worst) period of work + studies

::October::
-First invitation to Hari Raya and Deepavali celebrations
-First invitation to colleague's functions

::November::
-Made a BIG decision.

::December::
-First time taking my youths out for performances (02 Dec)
-Apply for BSW honours
-Staff Welfare event at RMCC (09 Dec)
-Friend's birthday celebration in Batam (09 Dec)
-First KTV session for 2006! (17 Dec)
-2nd youth performances and 2nd KTV session (22 Dec)
-Christmas meetup and some christmas party (23 Dec)
-Primary School Steamboat gathering (24 Dec)
-Poly gathering (27 Dec)

As i write and recap this... i realise that there are still a lot of thoughts and feelings that i want to and have not verbalised... but it seems that... i am lost for the words to put them down...

My LIFE's too complicated to put down in thoughts and words.
