Yet another of my Bboys performances yesterday. Previously they were the Floor Rock Crew, now they are the BBoys RB Crew, whats next? Haha.

Not gonna post pictures of them this time, but i must say, it was a beautiful show! This time round, none of them were late and all were very cooperative, united and moltivated to put up a good show!

Although there was a minor mishap (stupid sound system power tripped and they have to do the dance again...), they were all very calm and composed when it happens. Outstanding.

Moving on... Me and my 2 colleagues went for KTV after the performances yesterday. It was the Family Karaoke Box at Apollo Centre, Chinatown. One of my colleague, Ying Ying called it a "sneazy" place. "Sneazy" indeed, there was a pub around the vicinity that makes you wonder what goes on behind it...

Comparing that place to KBox, it is UNCOMPARABLE. Old songs, no tibits, only canned drinks, pirated MTVs!! ...Plus it's not even exactly cheap either... Not going back there anymore...

Anyway, we chilled till 1+am... Gosh, i am so tired afterwards! And i still have to work today! Sigh...

(i took a video of them singing love songs to one another, should i upload it on youtube? hahah. Intrusion of Privacy. =p)

Ok... Going to meet Liling and Co later... And later later, a christmas party... I wanna go home early, there are so many things to do... i haven't even cleaned up my house for the visitors tomorrow...

AND I HAVEN"T BUY THE GIFTS FOR LILING'S GIFT EXCHANGE LATER! AND AND AND... I haven't eat lunch O.O"

We played a game yesterday. I don't know what it is called.

There were a deck of cards. The cards were suppose to be your DESTINY card, and are suppose to tell you somethings that relates to you, which you are suppose to reflect upon.

I chose 3 cards. Clarity, Honesty and Joy.

How ironically true... The cards tells me to be more clear with what i want and be more honest with myself. It also tells me to embrace true joy in the coming year...

It knows... I know...

Everyday is a learning journey. Everyday, you learn something about yourselves.

Yesterday, i learn that i need to be in control. If i want to do something, or if you want me to do something for you, you must let give me the freedom to do it MY WAY.

Thats me. Take it or leave it.

Yesterday was no work, a Company potluck turned into a Company Christmas Party. Last minute decoration of office, last minute preparation of drinks, last minute announcement that there will be games. OMG. I hate last-minutes.

It was my first attempt at making rather NICE sandwiches for others. Good. I shall do it other times when i have parties (with the exceptions of this Sun because it is NOT a party). Quite fun, the way i did it. Like high-tea style. ;)

We played some games that my boss "imported" from the states, quite fun actually, i can actually drew some ideas from her for my future parties. She must have done it countless times to be so good at this. Last minute she also can pull something out.

But anyway, i also learned that i DO NOT LIKE LARGE GROUP GATHERINGS unless we are VERY CLOSE people. I got SO BORED that i have to "siam" a few times to get a breather. That's because if you are not playing games, you are just chatting, and i don't like chatting, but if i don't do it, i look anti-social. So i have to "act busy" and "siam" while i can and come back and "entertain" people once in a while. I HATE COMPANY FUNCTIONS.

Don't worry Guoxiong, Sun i won't be like that, because i am co-organising with you, so i will feel in-control and in-need to get things done. ;) Further, the bunch should be people i am quite comfortable with.

Anyway, to side-track a bit, my colleague/friends finally made the decision to DO IT... as in resign... So i stayed back to talk to her about it. I hope i did helped her a little. Anyway, that explains why i was home so late last night and also explains why when i wake up this morning, i had to ask myself "Do i need to work today?"

Another side-track, i have got my bonus! Woohoo! 2.2months ya! But pro-rated... Nevertheless, its still money. Anyway, my happiness was shortlived... After i sort out how i could have utilized my monies... I realised that i may not even have enough to buy new year clothes =(

No new clothes for the year, poor boy. =(

Here are some pictures on how i spent my Sunday =) KTV session with Liling and Ying Ying follow by a visit to Liling's house (which i have not visited since like aeons ago): (Not many pictures though)

This is Liling and me posing outside KBox AMK! Ying Ying didn't want to be in the picture no matter how we pleaded and blackmail her o.O"

(At Liling's place) This is Happy! Chiobu isn't she? I last saw her about 2years ago! She's still as chio!

The Chiobu was forced to take a picture with me! Look at how "Bu Gan Yuan" she is! Hahahah...

It was real fun lah! Firstly, i have not sing KTV for as long as i could remember, secondly, it was really a good catching up session! I find it hard to find people whom you can sit down and just chat. We have so much in common to talk about =)

Okie... A little history to our "relationship"... ... It's quite interesting how we actually can have this little meetup... And it all well boils down to Jiaqi and Social Work!

I was introduced to Liling through Jiaqi while they were classmates during Poly, we used to hangout. Jiaqi was also the one who introduced me to the Social Work field and Probation field. Thus i took up BSW and was subsequently attached to Probations, after which i joined SCS. At SCS, i got to know Ying Ying (who was also previously from Probations too) and we started talking. By chance, she found out that we have a mutual friend, Liling, whom she knew in her previous job at North-east CDC. Thus, we arranged for a meetup!

So, Jiaqi (and SWK) had somehow connected us (nothing great to brag about), but i just find it soooo very interesting.

The world is just so small.

Side-track:
My handphone issue is solved. Thanks for all who have offered me advice! They've been taken seriously. =)

Adidas Sweater

7:49 PM / 0 comments

What a boring day. Was snooping around Orchard area with Guoxiong the whole day... Didn't/couldn't buy anything since i am ABSOLUTELY broke now! =( Anyway, this guy was eyeing this orange adidas sweater, which i thought was pretty cool too. But he haven't got it yet since he's still considering the price... Very ex leh! 120 bucks!

We are but poor poor students... (okie i'm not... but gonna be...)

Anyway, a picture of the oh-so-expensive-but-cool-sweater:

I also want!! Forget it lah... Aient anymore spare bucks to buy anything thats considered "wants".

Anyway, i mentioned to John that i wanted his old K750i if he were to get a new phone... (Mentioned this to him before i went for the so-expensive dental thingy!) And he really reserved it for me... And today, he messaged me if he can passed it on to me for 200 bucks... 200bucks!? I aient want to spend 200 bucks now... especially on an old phone... So i told him i can't...

I feel so bad now... I mean i did told him i wanted his phone... And he saved it for me... Now i tell him i dun want it... He already bought the new HP without trading in...

The thing is... I also didn't know its gonna be 200bucks leh... Feel really bad... Guys, what will you do if you were me? Will you then buy it from him (You did cost him not to get his trade-in value)? Or will you say "Sorry... Could you sell it off at HP shops...?". Or will you "Lower the cost can... I'll get it from you...".

Lost...

Dental visit

9:41 AM / 1 comments

I visited the dentist yesterday... SCARY!!!

(I knew its not gonna be an easy trip, considering the fact that i have never really taken good care of my teeth all this while, and also i've not visited a dentist for like more than a year!)

Adhearing to popular beliefs, i have been told that the worst part of the dental treatment was the local anesthesia, when the dentist jab your gum, yucks! Well, i have proven this belief wrong! I didn't even know when the dentist jabbed me! The worst part was rather, the sounds of the drill! Wah lao, the dentist was more like a construction worker working on the new water fountain in Sentosa!

Water spray out from my mouth like nobodies business while the drilling went on and on and on... I was like "GOD HELP ME! I PROMISE TO TAKE CARE OF MY TEETH!"!

Luckily the clinic was kind enough to provide a TV above the dental seat, i was trying real hard to concentrate on the "Tian Wai Fei Xian" on TV loh!

Finally, after 30minutes of drilling, poking, polishing, I AM DONE! My teeths felt so clean and healthy now =) So relieved! Then i was in for another shock! $790!!?? Wah piang, so expensive ah! (I'm so poor now... don't ask me out guys, i m not free...)

$790 because i did a crown/bridge...2 fillings...wash/polish...teeth-colour filling colouring. I didn't know they can charge for colouring of the filling also O.O"

I promise to take good care of them from now on...

Lessons learnt:
1) Take good care of your teeths!
2) Brush teeths EVERYDAY (haha, i did that okie... i juz never visit dentist for fear of them!)
3) Visit dentist for checkup every 6mths, so that the "once-in-a-blue-moon" visit isn't as shocking as this.
4) Take VERY GOOD CARE of your teeths... (or extract them once and for all...yecks!)

(I wanted to post a picture of my teeths... But i couldn't get a good shot... Hahahaha... U guys are lucky...)

My weekend was spent in Batam at a friend's 21st birthday part. This was my first "overseas" birthday celebration, though in the end, besides the ferry ride, it aient feel nothing more than a regular birthday party.

But it was quite cool~! The "寿庆婆"'s family were mainly Indonesian chinese, much from a culture so different from ours. They loooooove karaoke! And when i mean they love it, they rreeeaaallly do. They sang throughout the night, sort of like the entertainment programme for the evening, much to the amusement of us being there, and to our poor ears who endured so much of the torture! No lah, some of the singings were rather good, they got practice one ok, dun play play. But all "olden chinese song", we kinda dunno how to appreciate, so we played "Taboo" instead.

Was my first time playing the game, it was quite fun actually. The player holds a card and have to described the item on the card without revealing it while the other players in your team must try to guess it! Teams with the most guesses wins.

Later, there were chats and movies, heh!

But the most memorable, i must say, i brought it back with me... Mossies bite! =( It was sooo bad okie~! Couldn't sleep last night becoz of it, i thought i wanna cut off my legs loh! Then this morning i saw my whole leg red! =(

Ok lah, i had fun~! Tired... But i had fun.

Dreams

11:54 AM / 0 comments

I have been having wierd dreams recently.

In one of the dreams...

I was in my house... I can see my room, my living room... There were people in my house... They were my friends... In my dreams... But i don't know who they were... I just felt close to them... We were moving things... Something broke... One of the girls scream... Something was wrong... But i was calm... I ignored her scream.

Another thing broke... This time in my room... Another girl called me... Say i should see this... A bottle of green pebbles had broke on the floor... And the pebbles formed a word on the ground... "死"...

I woke up... feeling numb... i didn't move... as though the reaper was in my room... I close my eyes and tried to sleep...

In another dream...

I was talking to this chairman of my organization... An old man... Whom i have never seen before... But i somehow knew he was the chairman... We were chatting as if we were old friends... He ask me what i want to do with my life... and i ask him if he wants to employ me... What!?

In yet another dream...

I was with my colleagues doing some stuffs in my office... Only that the place in my dream was not my current office... We were busy... Shifting things here and there... Suddenly i wanna pee... So i went to the toilet to pee... Then i woke up... I REALLY WANNA PEE -_-" (Okie... That's my body signal to me... Lucky i never peed in bed...)

I must be too tired recently...

Working tomorrow... Sigh... Must wake up damn early... Straight after work i'm rushing off to Batam for my friend's 21st birthday... What a weekend! Be back on Sun~!

Soccer boys, Breakdancers, Band boys... Roundbox boys!

The wonderful thing known as relationships is being built. Adrenalin rush is still within me. Since Saturday! Saturday breakdance performances, Monday Futsal club, Tuesday breakdances. Its wonderful to be able to built the rapport and to be able to engage the youths.

Although i am never a wonderful mentor, but at least i know they never minded my presence.

I don't know what to say, except that i am feeling happy now, a fulfilling day i call it.

Sidenote: I'm glad something that i wish not happen today did not happen. Thank god.

Okie okie... I probably shouldn't post my boys' pictures on my online diary! But i'm so proud of them!

Let's just say that i'm a member of the public who happens to be there to watch their performances, heh!

Oh! I'm so proud of them!

The ending stunt! Stunt the crowd too~!

The group photo~! Great job guys~!

These boys scare the hell out of me the afternoon of the performances! They were LATE! And i was so scared there were gonna play me out! But no! There were VERY responsible! They turn up!

And they put up a good show! A wonderful show! That's why i'm so proud of them!

Yupz! They are my Breakdancers boys! And they performed at the Children's Charity Carnival, Ngee Ann City, 2 Dec 2006!
